What are we doing?
Let’s make an upcycled hoodie together this summer. This is a beginner friendly easy project with a magical result. If you’ve ever been nervous to start a project this will be a great class for you. Those of you who have sewn your own clothes before will enjoy the relaxed pace.
My projects are broken down into prep, fabric cutting, sewing, and finishing. And because I’m opening this up to beginning sewists we will have a meeting for each.
Our class gets a discount for the Sully pattern, which I will give to you at sign up.
This is a three part class series taking place Tuesday nights at 6:30 pm -8:30 pm Pacific Time starting July 29, 2025.

Thinking outside the fabric store, what materials will work and where to find them
How to purchase your pattern and where to print - at home or printing service
Class 2 (August 5, 6:30 pm-8:30 pm Pacific Time): Getting your fabric and pattern ready
Measuring yourself to find the correct size to cut
Pattern alterations
Cutting your fabric - fussy cutting and using what you have
Class 3 (August 12, 6:30 pm-8:30 pm Pacific Time): Ready, set, sew!
Construction! I’ll demo each step and we will start constructing our hoodies
Student/Young Adult - 150.00

One hour personal Zoom sewing coaching on any project!
Fabric - you’ll get fabric from me that’s hand dyed for your kangaroo pocket, maybe some extra goodies!
